CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS
June 19, 2006
Dear Sir,
I began using your product, ActCel, approximately 18 months ago. I was first introduced to ActCel by one of your representatives during our annual convention. Previous to this, I used Gelfoam.
Although reluctant at first, I found myself only using ActCel as my hemostatic adjunct. Some of the features I liked Included:
- Dispensed in individual sterile pouches
- Easy to cut to any size or shape
- Rapidity of clotting action
Even though I still have Gelfoam in my office, I continue to use and order your product.

James M. Huoni, D.M.D
To whom it may concern:
Enclosed are a few pictures of me using Hemostatic Gauze. For the last five years, I have used it in all of the lower third molar sockets of about 3000 patients to prevent dry socket. I found it to be very effective. Though a general dentist, my practice is limited to oral surgery. I use a nurse anesthetist and do cases under IV sedation in about 25 different offices along the Wasatch Front. I teach courses on oral surgery throughout the U.S. and have been presenting for Clinical Research Associates since Dr. Christensen's departure for his sabbatical.
These dissolvable pieces are one inch square - one in each lower socket. I also use it on Coumadin patients and in other cases where bleeding is expected.
Sincerely,

Karl R. Koerner, BS, DDS, MS
