  ACTCEL IN VETERINARY PROCEDURES

ActCel hemostatic gauze can be used in various veterinary surgical procedures. It is extremely easy to apply and is the preferred method to stop bleeding quickly and effectively. The gauze can be implemented in any bleeding situation ranging from tooth extractions to deep tissue lacerations. With this superior stop-bleeding capability, ActCel is an essential component of the veterinarians' surgical toolkit.
Because ActCel is so easy to use and produces such high-quality results, the ActCel stop-bleeding product is widely accepted by veterinarians and it results in fewer post-operative issues.

CAN BE USED FOR:
• Capillary Wounds
• Arterial Bleeds
• Bites
• Lacerations
• Abrasions

ActCel hemostatic gauze, created from regenerated cellulose, is an effective hemostatic agent. Upon contact with blood, ActCel gauze instantly converts to a collagen like gel which expands to cause direct pressure on blood vessels and control bleeding. Hemostatic Gauze is water-soluble and the gel can be removed easily when water, saline or hydrogen peroxide is applied.

Patients on medications that increase bleeding:
Aspirin, NSAIDs, anticoagulants, anticancer medication, broad-spectrum antibiotics

Patients with bleeding disorders:
